| Comments: | this site is awswome me and my dad just finally found a v max frame for the 81 srx motor we have. the frame is not in good shape and is going to need alot of work but when we are done i hope it will look as good as some of the ones i see on this site. we are trying to put the 540 jugs on the 440 bottom end and it seams like it will work. right now we are looking fdor a nother sled for parts or to use the frame. so if there is anyoine in canada with one they want to get rid of i woulde be interested even just parts would be good. thanks again and this is an awsome site. |

| Comments: | love your website! i found it just typing in v-max phrases found it. i am restoring a couple 1985 v-maxs and will post you a picture when their all done. i have been riding these since i was 11. i love your dedication! thats all my dad and i would ever ride since i kicked his butt with my 83 v-max against his 84 phazer its funny he tried everything to. from flatsides to pipes could never get past me. so he thought if you can't beat em join em! in 1984 he came home with 2 brand new 84 v-maxs (most beutiful sight i have ever seen) and we spent alot of quality time together on them. i miss those days! anyway we bought new ones every year 85, 86, 87 never kept them. my dad is quite a bit older now and doesn't ride to fast or to hard any more so i bought a couple of restoreable 85 540j's at haydays and i am gonna restore them both one for me and one for dad and give it to him for x-mas this year, he will shit. then we are gonna go for a ride!
